GEN News: The Latest Updates from the Global Entrepreneurship Network. New Report Estimates There are 35 Million "Missing Entrepreneurs" Across the OECD Area


A new report from the OECD and European Commission, launched in partnership with the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), shows there could be an additional nine million people starting and managing new business in the European Union (EU) – and 35 million across OECD countries – if everyone was as active in starting businesses as 30-49-year-old men.



As part of GEN's Road to the Global Entrepreneurship Congress (#RoadtoGEC) programming, senior officials from the OECD, European Commission and GEN shared key report findings and steps needed to close the gap.
